“Polyester blend” can describe jackets that look and behave quite differently. One listing may identify a woven poplin, another a stretch twill and another a performance knit. Reading only the largest percentage erases those distinctions before you have compared them. A useful fabric decision starts by separating the fibers in the material from the way that material is made, then checking which parts of the jacket the description actually covers.
