Start with the Next Gen fabric
The manufacturer specifies a polyester, rayon and spandex stretch twill. That makes this a different material choice from Andrea’s microfiber blend and Clarity’s dobby body. We use those distinctions to guide comparison, not to declare one universally softer or more breathable. If you already wear Next Gen scrubs, compare the exact fabric and color name before expecting the jacket to match. A shared brand and a familiar navy label are insufficient proof of identical shade.
Decide whether inner pockets help your routine
Two of the four pockets are inside. That can suit someone who wants to keep part of their load out of view, but it also changes access when the front is zipped. Put frequently used items in the locations you can reach comfortably. If you would need to open the jacket repeatedly for a phone, Andrea’s exterior arrangement may be worth trying instead. An inside pocket should not be described as locking or zipped without specific evidence.
Contemporary fit needs space for the layer underneath
Try the jacket over the scrub top you will actually use, including any undershirt. Close the front and reach across a desk to check the upper back and arms. We have not verified a model-specific length here, so do not borrow Clarity’s or Andrea’s number to fill that gap. Choose Always in Motion when its fabric and pocket arrangement appeal; compare Athena if a two-way zipper and dedicated front organization are the features driving your search.
