Texture is part of the decision
The Devon uses a leopard jacquard texture rather than the plain surface found on many solid scrub jackets. The manufacturer also describes a back waist seam and inverted pleat, a zip-front opening and a 26-inch center-back length. Those details make the style worth considering when you want your jacket to look intentionally different from a basic warm-up.
Before choosing it to match existing scrubs, look closely at the current color images. The same color name does not establish an identical appearance across differently textured fabrics. If your workplace expects a specific uniform finish, check that requirement as well as the color.
Two closed pockets, several fabric components
The official specification lists two on-seam zippered pockets. That is a straightforward reason to shortlist Devon if you prefer to close your outside storage while moving. Its body is 90% polyester and 10% spandex, but the knit trim and lining have their own blends. Treat the body percentage as one component of the garment, not a complete account of every panel.
Decide which belongings need a closure and which need immediate access. Two zipped spaces can be useful for personal items, but a jacket with more compartments may suit a more complex carry routine. Check actual pocket capacity with your usual phone case rather than assuming that all phones fit equally well.
Who should compare Carly instead?
Carly is a useful alternative for someone drawn to Devon's zippered storage but wanting separate internal pockets as well. Dakota makes more sense to compare when the goal is a simpler scrub-fabric layer with less emphasis on texture. These choices depend on your preferences; we have not tested pocket security or ranked their comfort.
Try Devon zipped over your usual top and check the back while sitting and reaching forward. The pleat is a design feature, not proof of sufficient room for every wearer. Look for tension at the waist seam and shoulders. If those areas pull, compare measurements or another cut before concluding that stretch fabric will solve the fit.
