Healing Hands gives Dakota a 25-inch length and describes a contoured fit. Its banded hem is part of the intended shape, rather than a straight hanging edge. If you like a jacket that finishes close to the body, that detail may be appealing. If you wear a long untucked scrub top, check how much of the top extends below it.
Lay a jacket you already like flat and compare its back length before buying. The published length is a reference point, not a promise that every size or body shape will produce the same coverage.
A simple pocket and collar arrangement
The manufacturer lists a mandarin collar, two side pockets, triple-needle stitching and a zipper pull with an opening for an ID attachment. The body fabric is a polyester, rayon and spandex stretch blend. This gives the Dakota a clear use case: a zip-front scrub layer for someone who wants a small number of easily located pockets.
If you routinely separate a phone, keys, pens and other personal items, draw your pocket plan first. Two large spaces may be sufficient, but they do not substitute for individually closed compartments. A higher pocket count is useful only when the placement suits your routine.
