A hood should earn its place
For travel between buildings or the start and end of a shift, a hood may be a feature you actively want. When the jacket will be worn mainly indoors, consider what happens to that fabric when you lean against a chair or add another outer layer. Our advice is to try the hood down as well as up. Inspect the pocket openings rather than the count
Wink gives a total of four pockets and describes kangaroo-style front storage, a zipped chest compartment and sleeve-panel pockets. The most useful next step is to inspect the openings in the selected listing and decide what each will carry. Avoid assuming every named area is one independent, equal-sized pocket. If a phone is your main concern, confirm the zipped compartment’s dimensions and how its weight feels when the garment is closed.
Knit stretch does not replace a fit check
The body contains a high proportion of spandex, but that fact is not a promise of unlimited room or a reason to buy a smaller size. Wear the hoodie over the scrub top you intend to use and check whether the zipper stays straight when you reach forward. The official medium length is 26.75 inches. Select it for the hood and knit construction; do not borrow a woven jacket’s feel, laundering behavior or fit expectations just because both carry the Wink name.
