A shoulder detail that changes the silhouette
The 7660 combines a mock neckline with ruched raglan sleeves. Med Couture describes the cut as relaxed and gives a 26-inch center-back length. That combination makes this a useful option to try if you dislike the look of a square shoulder seam on a uniform jacket. It is still worth checking the upper arm and back while reaching forward; a sleeve construction alone cannot establish whether your preferred size has enough room.
The gathering is a visible design choice. If your preference is a completely plain jacket front and shoulder, compare a simpler warm-up before selecting this one solely for its zip closure.
Choose the fabric variant deliberately
For solid colors, the manufacturer lists a polyester, rayon and spandex blend. Heathered versions use different proportions, so a review of one color is not automatically a description of another. The page also lists two front welt pockets and a bungee badge loop. Confirm the complete pocket arrangement on the selected listing if you need several separate storage spaces; pocket totals are described differently across listings.
Make a quick inventory of what will actually live in the jacket. Two easily reached outer spaces may be more useful than a larger advertised total that includes compartments you rarely access.
Touch or a fleece layer?
Our buying interpretation is to shortlist Touch for its scrub-fabric construction and shoulder styling, and Med Tech 8684 when a fleece-lined design is the feature you want. That is a construction comparison, not a measured warmth ranking. Neither fabric percentages nor a product photo tell you exactly how warm you will feel through a shift.
Try the jacket over your usual scrub top, zip it, sit down and reach across your body before removing tags. Check where the hem lands relative to the top underneath. If it pulls upward or the sleeves bind, a different cut may solve the problem more effectively than simply sizing up.
