Two Dickies jackets, different starting points
Dickies describes DK305 as a contemporary junior contoured fit. The 86306 uses a more relaxed modern-classic fit and a different fabric blend. Comparing those labels is more useful than assuming the brand name guarantees the same fit. If your current jacket is roomy, measure it before switching. Check the DK305 over a scrub top rather than trying it on over a thin casual shirt.
What the simple pocket layout means
Two front patch pockets include pen storage, with utility tape near the shoulder yoke and shaping seams at the back. This keeps the buying decision straightforward: will the two main pockets hold what you need comfortably? If you use numerous separate compartments, consider another model. If your scrub pants already carry most of your equipment, a less elaborate jacket front may be entirely sufficient.
Fasten the snaps during your fitting
Try the front fully closed and lift your arms to working height. Check for pulling between snaps across the chest and at the hips, then look at the back while seated. Stretch fabric should support movement without requiring a very tight fit. Compare Landau 3038 for a different blend and longer listed coverage, or choose the Dickies 86306 when cotton content and a relaxed shape are the more important priorities. Check the wrist openings with your usual watch as well.
