A traditional shape with more back coverage
Barco specifies a 28-inch center-back length in small and a fitted back with a belt inset. That combination makes the hem and waist shape the first things to check. Measure a jacket you already like from the back neckline to its hem, then compare the reference length without assuming every size has the same measurement.
Check the snaps while you move
Try the jacket over your usual scrub top with the front fastened. Reach forward, sit, and cross your arms; the front should stay aligned without pulling between fasteners. Snaps also let you choose how much of the front to close, so test the configuration you would actually wear rather than judging it only while standing still.
Match the collection as well as the color
Jamie is the Classic model, not a Grey’s Anatomy Spandex Stretch jacket. Keep that distinction in mind when comparing an existing uniform set or ordering a replacement. A familiar brand name does not guarantee an identical fabric or silhouette across collections. Check the chosen color and size on the destination listing before completing a purchase.
Laundry and everyday handling
The manufacturer calls for cold washing with similar colors and low dryer and iron settings; it specifies non-chlorine bleach only if needed. Follow the label on the garment you receive. Before putting a used jacket in the wash, empty each pocket and inspect the cuffs and front so small items do not disappear into the load.
